Municipal Council will meet on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Vanier Centre to adopt the First Reading of the Official Plan and the revisions to the Zoning and Development Bylaw.
Public Meeting
For residents and property owners of Wellington
Rural Municipality of Wellington Official Plan and Development Bylaw Presentation
Please join us for the presentation of the proposed Official Plan and Zoning and Subdivision Bylaw. Attendees will have a chance to make a representation on the proposed content of the documents. Documents will be available on our website (see previous post or link on the right)band at the municipality office during opening hours on Wednesday, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and Thursday 6:00-7:00 pm.
The potential sale of the bike park will also be discussed during this meeting.
WHEN: Monday, August 17, 2020 – 7:00 pm
WHERE: Vanier Center, 25 Mill Road, Wellington
We will respect the guidelines of the Chief Public Health Office regarding social distancing. If the number of participants exceeds 50, a second meeting will be held at 8:30.
This meeting is organized by the Planning Board of the Municipality.

Rural Municipality of Wellington – Bilingual Summer Job Opportunities
The Rural Municipality of Wellington is looking for students to work at the Old Mill Park Interpretation Center in Wellington and to assist in administration duties for the Municipality. The students will be hired for 8-10 weeks, start date to be determined.
The responsibilities are:
• Manage the Old Mills Park Interpretive Center
• Meet and greet tourist while providing tourism information
• General administration duties
• Research information to support the center
• Enter data in Excel spreadsheets
• General yard work
• Other duties as required
